I'm in StevieWonderland

Today, I'm a kid in a candy store. In a few hours, I'll be attending Stevie Wonder's concert in Montreal. I grew up with Purple Rain and Thriller. Without Stevie Wonder, they wouldn't exist. Stevie, the genius lyricist and man-of-all-trades on all his albums, is the man. His albums are road maps, wish lists, therapies on vinyl.
There are fantastic love songs: Adore, Roxanne, Ain't Nobody, Ain't no Sunshine but the ultimate, because the words are so much more than that, is "As".

Did you know that true love asks for nothing
Her acceptance is the way we pay
Did you know that life is given love a guarantee
To last through forever and another day
Just as time knew to move on since the beginning
And the seasons know exactly when to change
Just as kindness knows no shame
Know through all your joy and pain
That I'll be loving you always
As today I know I'm living but tomorrow
Could make me the past but that I mustn't fear
For I'll know deep in my mind The love of me
I've left behind Cause I'll be loving you always

Thank you Stevie for the education.
Thank you Rickey for the ticket ...
